Meet The Magic Mirror, the first book in the Ninja’s Adventures series—a 44-page hardcover picture book written and illustrated by T.H. Martins in European Portuguese and British English.

Inspired by the real-life story of Ninja, a rescue kitten from Estoril, the adventure follows her to the Cats’ Garden, a rescue centre for cats waiting for homes. There, a mysterious mirror and an unexpected friendship begin to change her world.

The bilingual text is designed to be shared by children and grown-ups, allowing both languages to sit naturally together on every page. Gentle repetition, expressive illustrations and a little magic make the story welcoming for young readers and language learners alike.

At its heart, The Magic Mirror is a story about curiosity, friendship, belonging and the courage to step into the unknown. It is the first doorway into Ninja’s wider world—and the adventures still waiting beyond the mirror.
